By accessing the CanaBound Fencing Systems website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all users, including homeowners, contractors, and retail partners.
2. Product Use and Sales
CanaBound provides fencing systems for residential and commercial applications. While we offer technical guidance, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the chosen product meets their specific aesthetic and functional requirements.
3. Municipal Bylaws, Permits, and Property Lines
Crucial for Homeowners: CanaBound Fencing Systems is strictly a product supplier. We are not responsible for:
- Verifying property boundaries or the location of local utility lines (Call before you dig).
- Obtaining building permits or ensuring compliance with local municipal bylaws.
- Adhering to Homeowners Association (HOA) or condominium regulations.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that their fence installation complies with all local regulations and legal boundaries.
4. Orders, Payments, and Quotes
All residential and professional orders are subject to stock availability. Quotes provided by CanaBound are typically valid for 30 days. Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless a professional credit account has been previously established and approved.
5. Shipping and Material Inspection
We take absolute care with packaging structural frames engineered for our harsh local elements, however upon delivery, context changes and the end customer holds a legal requirement to thoroughly inspect cargo. Any discrepancies, missing pieces, or shipping-related damage must be reported to claims@canabound.ca within 48 hours. Please do not begin installation until your claim has been reviewed.
6. Installation Support
CanaBound provides installation guides and technical support as a courtesy. We are not responsible for errors made by DIY installers or third-party contractors hired by the homeowner. We strongly recommend following all safety protocols during installation.
7. Warranty
Our products come with industry-leading warranties against manufacturing defects. Warranty terms vary by product line (vinyl vs. ornamental). The warranty is void if the product is improperly installed or used in a manner for which it was not designed.
8. Limitation of Liability
CanaBound cannot be held liable for any litigation, personal injury, property damage, or legal disputes (such as property line disagreements) resulting from the installation or presence of our fencing products.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
